FAQ
-
What certifications do you have?
I am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant/Licensed (COTA/L), and CPR certified through the American Heart Association. These certifications, along with my experience in dance and caregiving, shape my holistic and client-centered approach to movement and wellness.

Where are sessions held?
Sessions are available at my Leicester-based location, in connected local Asheville studios, online, or in-home depending on the service. I travel within a 12-mile radius of Asheville, NC for mobile sessions. If you're beyond that range, reach out anyway—I may be able to accommodate, meet at a central location, or offer a virtual option.
Travel beyond 12 miles may incur a fee, calculated using the most direct route, to help cover fuel, time, and related travel expenses. Rates may vary depending on current gas prices.
-
How do I book a session?
To book a session, please contact me directly. Payment is due at the time of service.
-
How will I receive my workouts?
After we’ve gone through the movements together in person, clients who book packages or ongoing sessions will receive their customized workouts through a free, user-friendly app designed to support long-term progress and tracking.
For app users, if you’d prefer not to use the app, your plan can instead be provided as a detailed Word or PDF document.
All other clients will receive a detailed PDF program with video demonstrations (including YouTube links and/or videos of me demonstrating movements).
-
Do I have to book sessions weekly?
To book with me at standard pricing, sessions are scheduled on a consistent basis—typically more than once per week, weekly, or bi-weekly—unless discussed prior. This structure supports consistency, progression, and meaningful long-term results.
Single sessions or travel/drop-in bookings are $110. This rate reflects the flexibility and added preparation involved in offering one-time sessions outside of an ongoing training structure.
Clients who maintain a consistent schedule are considered active clients and receive additional support between sessions, including optional check-ins to help track progress, adjust goals, and maintain momentum.
I aim to support each person in a way that fits their life, while also maintaining a sustainable structure that allows me to provide high-quality, personalized care.
-
Are you a weight loss personal trainer or a nutritionist?
I’m not a weight loss–focused trainer, and I’m not a licensed nutritionist. I focus on building strength, improving mobility, and supporting sustainable, feel-good movement practices that support your overall well-being and how you want to move through life.
I don’t align with diet culture or approaches that prioritize shrinking or changing the body as a primary goal. We don’t need to make ourselves smaller in order to exist, take up space, or be supported in our bodies.
If body changes happen, they are a natural byproduct of consistent movement and care—not the focus of my work. My approach is centered on strength, connection, and sustainability over aesthetics or weight outcomes.
-
Do you offer packages or one-time sessions?
Both. You can book individual sessions or purchase packages for consistency and progress. Packages can be purchased directly through me, and each will have a clearly communicated expiration date to help support your commitment and growth.
-
Do you work as a COTA or caregiver through Mountain Blossom Movement?
No, I don’t practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or professional caregiver under Mountain Blossom Movement because providing those licensed services would be outside my professional scope. However, I bring many of the values and tools from that background into my work—especially when it comes to supporting functional movement, adapting to individual needs, and approaching care through a holistic, person-centered lens.
-
Do you work with or refer to other healthcare or wellness professionals?
Yes! I value teamwork and holistic care. I’m fortunate to have a community of trusted practitioners—including acupuncturists, massage therapists, herbalists, and more. If you’re interested, I can connect you with these local experts who offer adjunctive support. Please note that these referrals are not for medical diagnoses or treatment, but for holistic wellness options within their scopes.
